Travel information

Alicante’s airport, situated in El Altet is only 12 kilometers from the city. Airport buses into town operate roughly between 6.30am and 11.30pm and stop outside the bus station and on the central Rambla Mendez Nunez. The train station, Estacion de Madrid, on Avenida Salamanca, has direct connections to Madrid, Albacete, Murcia and Valencia. The bus station for local and long-distance connections is on calle Portugal.

Alicante’s enormous regional tourism information is situated at Avenida Rambla Mendez Nunez 23, however there are also several municipal branches on the Playa del Postiguet and at both the bus and train stations.
